- At 12:15, begin receiving children for aftercare and prepare for rest time
- Maintain a quiet, peaceful environment and atmosphere during the rest period, 12:45-1:45.
- Hand-off children who are dismissed at 2:00 to the dismissal teacher and help those who are staying for extended care to use the bathroom and prepare for snack
- Receive the grade school children who will join extended aftercare, supervise snack
- Supervise children cleaning up their snack space
- Supervise play from 2:30-3:00 (possibly 4:00) for all children in the extended care program.
- Release children to their parents/guardians at pick-up
- Make observations of children to share with teachers, including social engagements, behaviors of concern

Raleigh Day School is seeking a Spanish teacher for grades 1-6. Ten hours per week.
Position responsibilities include:
- Provide Spanish language instruction to grades 1-6 in separate class and/or combined sessions daily
- Meet regularly with appointed mentor
- Make observations of children to share with teachers, including social engagements, behaviors of concern
- Attend faculty meetings when scheduled to do so
- Provide an end of year report for each class
